Terms of Use

1. Center Court

Center Court is a tennis tracking and analysis service. Depending on supported devices and available features, matches and training sessions can be recorded, synchronised, analysed statistically and connected with account, friends, opponents, level, achievement, sharing and Local Hero features.

2. Account, sign-in and legal confirmation

A Center Court account is required for personal features. You are responsible for protecting your credentials. Google may be used as an alternative sign-in method. Your display name is the name that may be shown to other users within social features.

At first sign-in and after material legal updates, Center Court may require you to acknowledge the current Privacy Policy and accept the current Terms of Use before continuing to use the personal account area. The time, language and version of this confirmation may be recorded.

3. Tennis data, statistics and fair use

Center Court statistics are intended for sports documentation and analysis. Values can be affected by sensors, input, device conditions or transmission errors and are not official tournament results.

Only activities meeting the applicable minimum and plausibility criteria may count towards statistics, achievements, XP, levels, challenges and rankings. Center Court may exclude clearly implausible, manipulated, duplicate, temporally inconsistent or improperly recorded activities.

4. Local Hero

Local Hero is a location-based Center Court ranking. Outdoor matches and outdoor training sessions may be geographically assigned to a city, region/state and country using a representative activity position. The exact activity coordinate is not displayed publicly in Local Hero rankings or public player profiles.

Matches and training sessions may be weighted differently for ranking purposes. Center Court may reasonably adjust the scoring period, point weighting, activation thresholds for geographic levels and plausibility rules, in particular to keep rankings meaningful and limit abuse. There is no entitlement to a particular rank, point total or permanent availability of a specific geographic ranking level.

Activities may in particular be excluded from Local Hero where data is incomplete or technically implausible, activities overlap in time, travel between locations is not plausibly possible within the available time, or there are indications of artificial, duplicate or manipulated recordings. Exact internal thresholds do not have to be published.

If a user participates in Local Hero, display name, rank, Hero points, qualifying matches and training sessions, and city, region and country may appear in the ranking and public player profile. Other signed-in users may send friend requests from there. Local Hero is a community feature and not an official sporting ranking or tournament classification.

5. Premium, price and term

Premium is offered, where stated in the relevant offer, as a paid subscription. The price, billing interval, trial period and scope displayed immediately before purchase in checkout are authoritative. The currently intended annual price is €14.99 per year. Payments are processed by Stripe.

A recurring subscription renews according to the terms shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation generally stops future renewal; paid access remains available until the end of the paid period unless the law or checkout terms provide otherwise.

6. Statutory withdrawal right

Consumers may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online. The period generally begins when the contract is concluded. If you expressly request that a service begins during this period, the statutory consequences for services already supplied may apply. These terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

7. Availability and changes

Center Court is continuously developed. Features may be added, changed or discontinued for objective reasons. We aim to provide reliable availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or entirely error-free operation. Mandatory rights under an existing paid contract remain unaffected.

8. Sport and health

Center Court is not a medical application and does not replace medical advice. Heart-rate, calorie, distance or performance values are provided for sports information only. Use devices and features only in a way that does not compromise your safety while playing.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your Center Court account using the account deletion feature. Account deletion does not override statutory retention duties for billing-related records. An active paid subscription should be cancelled before or as part of deletion; Center Court may link the intended deletion process with subscription management.

10. Liability and statutory warranty

Mandatory statutory warranty and liability rules apply. To the extent permitted by law, Center Court is not liable for damage caused solely by improper use, incorrect user input, unsupported devices or circumstances outside Center Court's control.

11. Trademarks and third-party services

Center Court is an independent service. Third-party names and trademarks are used only where required to describe compatibility or services used. Such references do not imply participation, partnership or endorsement by the respective trademark owner.

12. Applicable law

To the extent legally permitted, Austrian law applies. For consumers, mandatory protections of the country of their habitual residence and statutory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
